Velká Británie - Londýn

Když jsem navštívila Londýn, byla jsem překvapena, jak moc kosmopolitní město Londýn je. Tam je opravdu malá pravděpodobnost, že potkáte skutečného Londýňana. A pravda je, že Londýn je přeplněn lidmi. Když jdete po ulici, musíte se vyhýbat ostatním. Mnoho lidí žije na okraji Londýna. Kde jsou nákupní centra, stejně jako v centru města. Nicméně, co je tam mnohem zajímavější pro turisty, než nákupní centra, jsou velká tržiště. Kde si můžete koupit mnoho různých věcí, od zeleniny a ovoce po kosmetiku, mobilní telefony a oblečení. Výhodou těchto tržišť je, že věci jsou tam opravdu levné. Periferie Londýna není tak rušná, vzduch je tu čerstvější a nemáte žádný problém se dostat do centra. Můžete použít typický Londýnský doubledecker, nebo metro, s nímž se může dostat všude. Každý z lidí žijících v Londýně zná větu: "Pozor na mezery mezi vlakem a nástupištěm", znějící s každým otevřením dveří metra. Nevýhodou okrajových částí Londýna je, že tyto části jsou známé pro vysokou koncentraci kriminality. Pro to je dobré být obezřetný, když jdete ven sami v noci.

 

Ceny
Pro lidi žijící ve střední a východní Evropě jsou ceny v Londýně velmi zajímavé. Když porovnám ceny v České republice a ve Velké Británii, speciálně v Londýně, musím říci, že některé ceny jsou přibližně na stejné úrovni, např. potraviny, jízdenky, cestování, knihy, atd. Ale některé ceny jsou v Londýně proti České republice velmi nízké, téměř o 50% nižší. Tyto ceny se vyskytují v souvislosti s oděvy, kosmetikou a hlavně elektronikou. Například si můžete zakoupit v Londýně mobil nebo foťák, který stojí 100 liber, což je přibližně 3000 Kč. Stejný mobil nebo foťák vyjde v České republice asi na 6000 Kč. Na druhé straně v Londýně jsou vysoké náklady na bydlení.

Památky
Centrum Londýna je plné zajímavých míst a historických památek. Pokud máte na shlédnutí Londýna pouze týden, určitě se nedá stihnout navštívit všechno. Výhodou Londýna je, že do většiny muzeí je vstup zdarma. Jinak jsou ostatní atrakce placené. Legendární Londýnské oko jsem bohužel nenavštívila, ale pokud toužíte vidět Londýn z výšky a akceptujete cenu této atrakce, stojí to za to.

Nechci ale mluvit o památkách čí místech jako Big Ben, Trafalgar square, Picadily circus nebo Tower Bridge apod. Informace o těchto místech si můžete najít kdekoliv na internetu. Přikládám tradiční fotky, které naleznete vždy ve spojení s pojmem Londýn, ale méně je už vidět bitevní loď Bealfast, jejíž atmosféru umocňují voskové figuríny. Zajímavá je i strojovna Tower Bridge, která zajišťuje zvedání mostu v případě proplouvání vysoké lodi. Pokud se budete potulovat uličkami v centru Londýna jako já možná nechtěně narazíte na spoustu zajímavých věcí jako je Shakespearovo divadlo The Globe, nebo pomník hasičů, kteří se účastnili záchrany Londýna před hrozivým ohněm v roce 1666. Dále v Londýně naleznete také katedrálu Sv. Pavla nebo můžete pod Londýnským okem navštívit obří akvárium.

Great Britain - London

When I visited London, I was surprised, how much cosmopolitan city London is. There is really little chance, that you will meet a real Londoner. And the true is, that London is crowded with the people. When you go past the street, you have to keep away to other people. Many people live in the outskirts of London. There are shopping centers as well as in the centr of the city. However, what is there much more interesting for tourists than the shopping centres, are large market places. Where you can buy lot of different things, from vegetable and fruits to cosmetics, mobile phones and clothes. The advantage of these market places is that things are really cheap there. Periphery of London are not so busy, the air is there fresher and you have no problem getting to the centre.

You can use a typical London DOUBLEDECKER or use underground, with which you can get everywhere. Each of people living in the London knows the phrase: „Mind the gap between the train and the platform“, resounding  with each door mening of the train. But one disadvantage of periphery  there is.  London is well-known for high concentration of crime, which is very concentrated in those parts of London. For this is good to be heedful, when you going out alone at night.

 

Prices
For people living in the Central or Eastern Europe are in Londen very interesting prices. If I compare the prices in the Czech republic and  Great Britain especially London, I have to say, that some prices are about the same level, for example food, tickets, travelling,, books etc. But some prices in London against Czech republic are very low, nearly abot 50% lower. These prices are especially related to clothes, cosmetics and mainly elktronics. For example you can buy in London mobil phone or camera, which costs 100 pounds, chat is aproximately 3,000 Czech crowns. The same mobil phone or camera costs in the Czech republic about 6,000 Czech crowns. On the other side in London are high costs of living.

 

Monuments
Center of London is full of interesting sites and historical monuments. If you have only a week to see London, be sure, you can´t visit everything. The advantage of London is that in most museums are tickets free. Otherwise, you have to pay other attractions. Unfortunately I didn´t visit legendary London Eye, but if you want to see London from above and accept the price of this attraction, it's worth to try it
But I do not want to talk about the monuments and places such as Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Picadily Circus and the Tower Bridge, etc. Information about these places you can find anywhere on the Internet. I made the traditional photos that you will always find in connection with the term of London, but it is less visible Bealfast battleship, which atmosphere is enhanced by wax figures. Interesting is also the Tower Bridge engine that provides lift bridge for the passage of the tall ship. If you wander the streets of central London as I, you can find a lot of interesting things such as Shakespeare's The Globe and The Memorial of firefighters, whose participated in the rescue before the terrible fire of London in 1666. Also in London, you can visit the St. Paul´s Cathedral or you can visit the giant aquarium below the London Eye.

Hurghada - Egypt

Hurghada is a city in the Red Sea Governorate of Egypt. It is a main tourist center and second largest city in Egypt located on the Red Sea coast. The city was founded in the early 20th century, and since the 1980s has been continually enlarged by Egyptian and foreign investors to become the leading seashore resort on the Red Sea. Holiday villages and hotels provide aquatic sport facilities for sailboarders, yachtsmen, scuba divers and snorkelers. Today Hurghada counts 248,000 inhabitants and is divided into three parts: Downtown (El Dahar) is the old part; Sekalla is the city center, and El Memsha (Village road) is the modern part. Hurghada stretches for about 36 kilometres along the seashore, and it does not reach far into the surrounding desert. The resort is a destination for Egyptian tourists from Cairo, the Delta and Upper Egypt, as well as package holiday tourists from Europe, notably Serbs, Italians, Russians, Poles, Czechs and Germans. Until a few years ago it was a small fishing village.

Hurghada je město ležící na pobřeží Rudého Egypta. Jeto hlavní turistické centrum a druhé největší město v Egyptě nacházející se na pobřeží Rudého moře. Město bylo založeno na počátku 20. století a od roku 1980 bylo nepřetržitě rozšiřováno egyptskými i zahraničními investory, aby se stalo vedoucí pobřežní letovisko na pobřeží Rudého moře. Prázdninové osady a hotely poskytují vodních sportovních zařízení pro jachtaře, potápěče a šnorchlaře. Dnes má Hurghada 248 000 obyvatel a je rozdělena do tří částí: Downtown (El Dahar) stará část, Sekalla centrum města a El Memsha (Village silnice) moderní část. Hurghada se rozkládá asi 36 km podél pobřeží a nedosahuje daleko do okolní pouště. Středisko je cíl pro turisty z egyptské Káhiry, Delty a Horního Egypta, stejně jako turisté z Evropy, zejmé Srbové, Italové, Rusové, Poláci, Češi a Němci.

Place where we live - České Budějovice

The city České Budějovice is situated on the confluence of the river Vltava and Malše. České Budějovice was founded in 1265 by Přemysl Otakar II. In České Budějovice you can find a lot of historical monuments like Black tower, Přemysl Otakar II. square with the Samson´s fountain, where is the Samson statue. Near the fountain is the Amazing stone, which is famous for its legend, which tells, if you step on this stone at night, you get lost, because there were gallows in the Middleage.

The city České Budějovice is culture centrum of the South Bohemian region. You can visit there South Bohemian theatre or many others.There are as well myny museums, of which we can mentionMuseum of the horse drawn railway, South Bohemian museum or Motorcycle museum. If you can go shopping, there are many trade centres like a IGY, Mercury centrum or G centrum.

What are České Budějovice famou for, is traditional excellent beer. In České Budějovice are two breweries. Of which is more well-known Budvar brewery. Budweiser Budvar has reached the position of the major beer market player by way of a gradual and conscientious expansion into foreign markets and strengthening its position at home. The volume of export sales makes Budweiser Budvar Czech Premium Lager one of the most exported Czech beer brands. Presently, more than 600 employees work in Budweiser Budvar N.C.
